Admissions
New York College of Health Professions is committed to recruiting highly qualified and motivated candidates for its holistic health programs in massage therapy, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. Located in Syosset on Long Island, the College values a diverse and supportive student community, welcoming individuals from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds.
The admissions process evaluates academic strength, communication skills, maturity, and a demonstrated commitment to the principles of holistic health and integrative medicine.
Academic Requirements
School of Massage Therapy
High school diploma or equivalency certificate with a minimum GPA of 2.0. A high school diploma or equivalency is also required to sit for the New York State Massage Therapy Licensing Examination.
Graduate School of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine
Minimum of 60 undergraduate trimester credits (2.5 GPA or higher) from an institution accredited by a U.S. Secretary of Education–recognized agency, including at least 9 credits in the biosciences.
Enrollment Start Dates
New York College of Health Professions accepts applications year-round. The College operates on a trimester system with three enrollment start dates per calendar year:
Spring Trimester
Starts early January
Summer Trimester
Starts early May
Fall Trimester
Starts late August

Tuition
New York College of Health Professions offers the lowest tuition — both undergraduate and graduate — of any nonprofit, private, institutionally accredited college of its kind in the tri-state area. Whether you are pursuing a career in massage therapy, acupuncture, or Chinese herbal medicine, our programs are designed to be accessible without compromising academic quality. Tuition is charged per credit for each course. All fees listed below are non-refundable.
