The admissions process is designed not only to assess the academic strength of the candidate, but also his or her desire and ability to benefit from the program of choice. Many facets of a candidate are considered: communication skills, intelligence, maturity, willingness to embrace and promote the principles of holistic health, as well as the potential for personal growth.

Qualified applicants for the massage therapy program have earned a high school diploma or equivalent.  Qualified applicants for the acupuncture and oriental medicine programs have earned either 60 college credits or minimally an associate level degree.

Applicants are required to complete an application and application essay.  Additional documentation includes official transcripts, immunization records showing receipt of two doses of the MMR vaccine (as required by the New York State Health Department), and a recent physical.
