The professional family health clinic of New York College of Health Professions, one of the largest and most renowned out-patient Holistic facilities in the United States, has been recognized as a pioneer in providing integrative health care for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Since 1976, the Center in Syosset has served as a model for Holistic health care, using minimally invasive, natural and preventive therapies that combine 5,000 year old Chinese healing practices with more modern methods of Western medicine, to treat the “whole” person.
The Integrative Health Center uses a team approach to provide the highest level of complementary health care for its patients. An experienced holistic practitioner will spend time to talk to you and take a comprehensive review of your physical and emotional health and then discusses treatment options for your health care concerns. They will discuss your treatment with other professionals from various disciplines, including many modalities of massage therapy, acupuncture, Swedish and Asian massage, herbalism who can work together to help you establish and maintain optimum wellness. Our practitioners are here to guide you and will take the time to answer our questions and concerns. The same professional services are also available at the college’s clinics in Manhattan.

Patients are responsible for payments to the Integrative Health Center when services are rendered. Many of the services of the Integrative Health Center are covered by major medical plans. Your insurance carrier will advise you if it covers those services. The Integrative Health Center will supply you with a bill for services rendered that you may submit for insurance reimbursement.
The New York College of Health Professions also serves the community through its teaching clinics, which offer treatments in various modalities at affordable prices for those patients who lack insurance coverage. The Patient Care Coordinator at the Integrative Health Center can help place patients where they can best receive treatment.
